Fine Art and Studio

By Betul Arin

Recent landscapes, 1996-2007

I have always been very impressed by beautiful landscapes. The concern with rendering nature as color vibrations exist in all my paintings. They are landscapes filled with remembered details. Colors are independent and yet mix along themselves to create an endless series of new worlds. For my inspiration I traveled to the Mediterranean region of Turkey to depict the vibrant hues of Provence, or flat fertile fields of the Tuscan countryside, where you see flowers and vegetables growing in tidy rows. I would like to invite the viewers to participate in this visual journey.
